Description
The bottom plate sits under the switch and carries its mounting points. The plate is matched by its fixing holes and by the switch it holds, so photograph the plate on the lift with a ruler across it.
A plate that is cracked around a screw hole, or bent under the switch, will let the switch move; check both faces before ordering.
Fitting is a technician's job: the switch has to be set and tested on the lift, so book repair and service. The ceiling lift range lists the models we look after.
