Description
The strap shaft is the axle the tape reel turns on. The lifting tape winds onto the reel around this shaft, so the shaft takes part of the resident's weight. It is maker part 636025 for the C800 and C1000 ceiling lifts.
Send the lift's model and serial number, then photograph the reel with the tape unwound, the shaft end and whatever retains it, and measure the shaft's length and diameter.
Fitting is a repair and service job, and the lift is load tested after the new shaft goes in.
