Description
The bushing housing holds the bushing that the transcord shaft turns in. It is matched by its bore and by the way it fixes to the lift, so photograph the housing where it sits and measure across the opening with the bushing out.
Check the housing for cracks at the bore, for a stripped fixing and for wear where the shaft has been running off centre.
Changing it means taking the parts around it apart, which is repair and service work.
