Description
The shaft bushing is the sleeve the transcord shaft runs in. It is a wear part: it takes the rubbing so the shaft does not, and it is the first thing to change when a shaft has play in it.
Photograph the bushings in place and measure the shaft where it runs, because a scored shaft will eat a new bushing. Say whether yours is a plain sleeve or a flanged one.
A bushing usually needs press work, so it is a repair and service job.
