Description

Item 60300011 is the low-leg MiniLift160EM. Savaria rates it at 350 lb (160 kg). The person has to support their own weight while standing and follow instructions. It is for short indoor transfers on a level floor, not for the shower and not for moving someone down a hall.

Who is this code for?

  • A person up to 350 lb who can stand and take part in the move.
  • Low front casters and a pedal for the base. The powered low-leg code is 60300013.
  • Not the MiniLift200. That code is 401100334.

How does a transfer work?

The footplate and the lower-leg support take the feet and shins. A ThoraxSling, bought separately, supports the back. The two-button hand control raises and lowers the arm. The base width is a pedal, not a button.

If the hand control fails, lowering can be manual or electrical. The emergency stop is on the control box. Do not leave the person alone during the move.

Will the base fit the room?

  • Outside width is 26.3 in (669 mm) with the legs closed. Check the narrowest door.
  • Inside width with the legs open is 30.4 in (773 mm).
  • The brochure prints one size block for every 160, then a separate caster line for the low-leg codes.

Which sling fits?

Savaria lists ThoraxSling for the MiniLift. It is not in the box. The calf strap, item 70200033, is also separate. See sit-to-stand slings. The lower of the lift limit and the sling limit is the one that applies. We match the sling before you order.

What is specific to 60300011?

  • Manual base widening. Item 60300013 is the same low-leg 160 with a powered base and a four-button control.
  • Front casters are 2.8 in (70 mm). Rear casters are 3.9 in (100 mm) and lock.
  • The six-button accessory 70200089 is listed for the EE codes, not for this pedal model.

Battery and charging

The current brochure says the MiniLift has built-in charging. It does not print a battery chemistry or an amp-hour figure, so this page does not either. An external charger, item 70200029, is listed as its own part. Charge it off a wet floor.

How does it compare?

Browse sit-to-stand lifts and patient lifts. The Span F500S is another powered sit-to-stand. The Hoyer Journey is a smaller active lift.

Frequently asked questions

Is 60300011 the powered-base MiniLift?

No. 60300011 uses pedals for the base. The powered low-leg code is 60300013.

Can the person be moved down the hall in it?

No. Savaria says the 160 is for short transfers, not for transporting someone.

Does the footplate come off?

Yes. Savaria says the footplate can be removed so the lift can be used as a walking aid.

Are the front casters the same size as the rear?

No. On 60300011 the front casters are 2.8 in and the rear casters are 3.9 in. The standard-leg 160 codes use 3.9 in at both ends.
