The plates set where the strap crosses the user's legs. A bent plate leaves the strap at an angle and the leg support uneven, so the pair is renewed together.
Check that the strap itself is sound before ordering, because new plates will not repair a worn strap. Tell us your lift's model and serial number and we confirm the plates; a technician fits them and checks the strap height on both legs.
