Description
The RGK Elite Series is a made-to-measure basketball wheelchair for intermediate and professional players, classes 1 to 4.5.
Who it is for
- A court player who wants the frame built to their body and their style of play.
- Not someone who wants to keep changing seat position. The RGK AllCourt is the adjustable court chair.
- Not a daily indoor chair. RGK presents the Elite as a basketball wheelchair.
How it is measured and ordered
RGK takes the person's measurements and hand-builds the frame. The order form states a manufacturing tolerance of plus or minus 5 mm.
The Canadian page offers two versions, Elite and Elite X. Both use a 7020 aluminium Tri-Frame and are made to measure.
Elite X uses a clamped carbon axle, so alignment can be tuned later. Sideguards in carbon fibre are optional on Elite X.
AllCourt or Elite Series
Choose the AllCourt if the player needs to try different seated positions. Choose the Elite Series if the setup should be fixed around one player.
The limit is 125 kg (275.5 lbs). A heavy-duty frame is listed at 158 kg (348 lbs). Camber is chosen at 16, 18, 20 or 22 degrees.
The Canadian page prints Elite at 20.3 lbs (9.2 kg) and Elite X at 19.2 lbs (8.7 kg). The range manual states an intended lifetime of 2 years, and it is not for weight training.
Daily rigid frames are under rigid wheelchairs. The wider range is on wheelchairs.
A free home assessment can start the sitting check. The final frame still follows the RGK measure.

How exact is the finished frame?
RGK hand-builds it to the person's measurements. The order form states a tolerance of plus or minus 5 mm.
