Description
The inlet is the part the lifting strap passes through as it leaves the lift casing. It guides the strap past the edge of the opening, and the strap itself is the part that carries the person.
Inspect the strap where it runs through the inlet. Fraying, cuts or worn stitching mean the lift should be taken out of use until a technician has seen it. Send your lift's model and serial number and a photo of the inlet with the strap still in place.
A technician fits the inlet and checks the strap run and the drum at the same visit. Our service team can arrange that.
