Who is it for?
- A standard deck that needs zoned foam, not an air pump.
- 36 in widths are rated 500 lbs (227 kg). 39 and 42 in widths are 600 lbs (272 kg). The bed limit also applies.
- A heavier person on a wider deck may need Geo-Mattress Atlas, which goes to 750 lbs on its widest sizes.
- Savaria also lists prevention through stage 4 and treatment of a single stage 3 among indications. A clinician decides.
Will it fit?
- Sizes here: 75 x 36, 80 x 36, 80 x 42, 84 x 36, 84 x 39 and 84 x 42 in, all 6 in high.
- 80 x 39 in (UMX8039-29) and the recessed-deck model are on Savaria's page and not on this listing.
- Measure the deck. At 6 in, check the gap beside the rails.
- The recessed-deck version uses V-shaped edges. Do not order a flat-deck size for that frame.
Cover and the warranty line
- LifeSpan cover: bi-directional stretch, fluid-resistant, wipe with standard hospital-grade cleaners. Two carry handles.
- Savaria warrants the mattress for 8 years. The same spec block also prints a 2-year control-unit line. This mattress has no pump, so that line is not treated as part of this sale until Savaria confirms it.

Frequently asked questions
Does UltraMax include a pump?
No. It is a foam mattress. The control-unit line on Savaria's warranty block does not match this product.
Will a 36 in width hold 600 lbs?
No. 36 in is 500 lbs. 600 lbs applies to the 39 and 42 in widths.
Is the recessed-deck model on this page?
No. UMX85V-29 is a separate part for recessed frames. These six parts are the flat sizes listed above.
