Who is it for?
- A person at or under 750 lbs. The bed's own limit also applies.
- Care that wants alternating pressure, not a foam-only bariatric mattress such as Geo-Mattress Atlas.
- A 35 in deck will not take these widths. The standard PressureGuard APM is the 350 lb model.
- Lengths are 80 or 84 in. Widths are 42, 48 or 54 in. Savaria prints all six codes on the current page.
Will it fit?
- Measure the deck before you pick a width. All six sizes are 7 in high.
- At 7 in, check the gap at the rails.
- Span describes Safety Edge as helping minimize the risk of falls and entrapment. It does not replace rails.
- Six air cylinders use a four-up, two-down pattern. The top is a Geo-Matt layer with more than 800 cells and a heel taper.
Two cycle times are both on the page
- One line says alternating pressure uses a 10-minute cycle. The control-unit block also lists programmable times of 20, 25 or 30 minutes.
- We confirm which times apply to the size you choose. Both are real lines on the same page, so neither is hidden.
- Float is the other mode. Auto Firm is timed at about 20 minutes. There are 10 comfort settings, plus low-pressure and power-failure indicators.

Frequently asked questions
Is part 7510 a mattress size?
No. 7510 is the control unit alone. The six mattress codes are the surfaces. We confirm the control unit is packed with the size you choose.
Is the cycle 10 minutes or longer?
The page prints both a 10-minute cycle and programmable 20, 25 or 30 minute times. We confirm which this unit uses.
Does the raised edge prevent a fall?
Span says Safety Edge helps minimize that risk. It is not a promise that a fall cannot happen.
