Savaria Patient Care Span F350CT car transfer floor lift

The Savaria Patient Care Span F350CT is a folding electric lift made for transfers into and out of a car.

Who can this car lift move?

A caregiver runs it for a person who is immobile or depends on a lift.

• Rated 350 lb (159 kg), and the manual is for a level, dry floor.
• If the person can pull themselves up and stand, look at a sit-to-stand lift instead.
• The Span F500S is a different product, for someone who can bear weight.

Will it fit the car, the door and the bed?

The frame folds for a trunk. Span does not print the folded size, so measure the trunk first.

• Closed outside width 25.6 in (650 mm). Inside width with the legs open is 32.0 in (813 mm).
• Base length 41.0 in (1041 mm). Front caster height 4.7 in (119 mm).
• The boom runs from 22.2 in (564 mm) to 64.7 in (1643 mm). A pedal opens the legs.

Which sling clips on, and what is extra?

Clips lock onto hooks on the 4-point bar. Pull each clip before you lift.

• The manual lists cradle clip slings MAA4000M and disposable MFA4000M, in M, L and XL.
• A sling is not in the standard feature list. A second battery and a charging cradle are optional.

What should the caregiver watch?

Unplug the charger from the control box before a lift. The lift will not run while that cord is connected.

• The brochure Savaria still links says this lift can also pick someone up from the floor.
