Description
The Zippie Voyage is a Sunrise Medical early intervention stroller for a baby. A caregiver pushes it.
Who is the Zippie Voyage for?
Sunrise calls it an early intervention device for a seated child.
It is the wrong stroller once the child will push their own chair. Those chairs are in the wheelchair range.
Will this seat fit?
- User limit: 75 lbs (34 kg), the maker's current figure, with the rider and the listed accessories together not over 170 lbs (77 kg).
- Width: advanced 6 to 13 in, moderate 9.5 to 12 in. Depth: advanced 5 to 13 in, moderate 8 to 13 in.
- Floor to seat: moderate 22.5, 23.5 or 25 in; advanced 22.5, 23.5 or 26 in. Adjustment steps list 23, 24.5 and 26 in.
- Handle 32 1/4 to 47 3/4 in. Width 24 1/8 in. Folds to 35 1/8 in long and 12 1/4 in high, seat off.
- Basket up to 15 lbs. Do not hang more than 5 lbs from either handle.
Bring hip and thigh measures to a free home assessment so the seat height can be checked.
How does it fold?
Take the child out, then lift the seating off the base. The manual says not to fold the Voyage with the seat still on.
Pull both triggers and push the upper frame down. A storage lock holds the base shut.
Moderate seating or advanced seating?
Moderate seating is the softer setup. Advanced seating is the wider growth range.
Both can face the caregiver or face out. Tilt runs from 5 degrees forward to 30 degrees back.
How does it compare with the Zippie Xpress?
The Zippie Xpress is smaller: birth to 3 years, up to 55 lbs, and 34 lbs all up.
Pick the Voyage for the wider seat or the 75 lb limit. For a self-propel chair, see pediatric wheelchairs.

Frequently asked questions
Is 28 lbs the whole stroller?
No. That 28 lbs is the base alone. With seating on, the manual lists 49.5 lbs or 50 lbs.
Can the child ride in a car in it?
Occupied transit is listed for the advanced seat only, and not for a child of 25 lbs or less.
If the child outgrows the short shell, what happens?
Sunrise says no. Changing the short back shell for the tall one means a new chair, not a parts swap.
