Which size fits your wheelchair?
- Four sizes: 16 x 16 in (XLTE1616), 16 x 18 in (XLTE1618), 18 x 16 in (XLTE1816) and 18 x 18 in (XLTE1818).
- Measure the seat pan between the armrests for the width, and from the backrest to the front edge for the depth.
- The number is XLTE plus the two figures, width first, so XLTE1818 is 18 in wide by 18 in deep.
How is it filled and adjusted?
- Slide the pump hose over the valve, open and inflate, then close it.
- With the cells up and the valve to the front, open it while the person sits and adjust the air until the cushion conforms.
- The maker recommends a daily inflation check, and another after a change in altitude. It stands 3 in (7.6 cm) high, weighs 1 lb (0.5 kg) and is rated to 300 lb (136 kg).
Covers and care
- The standard cover is the breathable one: two way stretch across the top, mesh panels at the sides and a non-skid base. A wipeable fluid resistant cover is the other option.
