The Blake Medical Geo-Matrix Platinum is a gel and foam wheelchair cushion. Blake's current size page rates it for skin protection and gentle positioning. An occupational therapist or physiotherapist chooses it in a seating assessment.
Blake's size page prints a height of 3 in (76 mm) and a maximum user weight of 275 lb. The build is a 1 in blue gel base, a contoured foam core and a 0.75 in gel top that cascades over the front.
Which size fits the chair?
Sizes run 16, 18, 20 and 22 in for width and depth. Order both to the wheelchair seat. Blake's part code is GP plus the size, for example GP1816 for the 18 by 16. Each width and depth is its own choice.
Platinum Plus is the higher-capacity cushion, with its own code and a 450 lb rating on Blake's page. It is not included here. Custom dimensions are a separate quote and are not returnable.
Covers, setup and returns
Blake includes a soft outer incontinence cover and an inner wipeable cover. A used cushion, or one that has touched the skin, is not returnable. Read the return policy.
