Description
This page is the hybrid Cambridge: Small/Medium PR401-SME and Medium/Large PR401-MLA.
Golden Technologies no longer lists this model in its current Canadian line-up. Ask us about remaining stock or the current replacement.
Who it fits
- Small/Medium is suggested for about 5 ft 1 in to 5 ft 6 in (155 to 168 cm). The seat is 20 in between the arms (508 mm).
- Medium/Large is suggested for about 5 ft 7 in to 6 ft 2 in (170 to 188 cm). The seat is 22 in between the arms (559 mm).
- Both are rated 375 lbs (170.1 kg). PR401-SME is not the Medium/Large, and PR401-MLA is not the Small/Medium.
Will it fit the room?
- Small/Medium: 33 in wide, 41.5 in tall, seat 19 in deep and 19 in off the floor (838, 1054, 483 and 483 mm). Back 27 in (686 mm). Leave 18 in (457 mm) behind it.

- With the footrest out, the end sits 41.5 in or 44 in past the back of the seat (1054 or 1118 mm).
What is standard, and what is not
- Three positions. The back and chaise move together. The biscuit back is removable.
- Heat, massage, a footrest extension, an extra pocket and a left-hand control are options, with no prices on the sheet.
- Fabrics are Hazelnut, Sterling, Copper, Calypso and Shiraz. Medium/Large adds Bamboo at an upcharge.
- The backup is included as a feature. The sheet says the batteries themselves are not included, and it does not name the type.
How it compares
- Other 3-position lift chairs use the same one-path recline.
- For a back and footrest that move apart, see infinite position lift chairs and the Golden Cloud with Twilight.

Frequently asked questions
Is PR401-SME the new Small?
No. PR401-SME is the Small/Medium on this sheet, for about 5 ft 1 in to 5 ft 6 in. It is not the Medium/Large.
Does Medium/Large fit someone 6 ft 4 in?
The sell sheet stops at 6 ft 2 in. The Canada product page says 6 ft 4 in. Specs use the sheet.
Is the footrest extension already on the chair?
No. The sheet lists it as available, not as a standard part.
Which fabric list should I trust?
The sheet lists Hazelnut, Sterling, Copper, Calypso and Shiraz, plus Bamboo on Medium/Large. The Canada page swaps Copper for Camel.
