Description
This page is item 60600014 only, the low-leg electrical base.
Which code you are buying
- 60600014 is electrical base widening with low legs. The standard-height electrical base is item 60600009.
- The pedal-widened version, 60600011, has its own page as the Carina 350 EM, and the pedal version with low legs is 60600012.
- Compare other models on the patient lifts page or in the electric floor lifts range.
How does a transfer work on the low-leg base?
The sling bar hooks rise from 22.8 in to 66.1 in (580-1680 mm) above the floor. The fitted two-point bar has safety latches.
- One hand control drives the arm up and down and widens the legs; letting go of a button stops the motion.
- Pick a sling Handicare approves for this lift. Whichever is rated lowest, the lift, the bar or the sling, sets the limit.
Will the base go under the bed?
On this code the front casters are 1.4 in and the rear casters are 3.9 in. Base height is 4.9 in (125 mm). Measure the doorway and the gap under the bed before you order.
Outer width runs from 26.8 in closed to 42.5 in open (680-1080 mm).
How is it charged, and how does it lower in an emergency?
A built-in charger tops up the two 12 V, 2.9 Ah gel batteries. Before the lift is used for the first time, give it a charge of 4 hours or more.
- If power fails, the arm can still be lowered manually or with the electrical emergency lowering.
