Description

Item 401100334 is the MiniLift200. Savaria rates it at 440 lb (200 kg). The person has to support their own weight while standing and follow instructions. It is for short indoor transfers on a level floor, not for the shower and not for moving someone down a hall.

Who is this code for?

  • A person up to 440 lb who can stand and take part in the move.
  • Not a low-leg 160. Those codes are 60300011 and 60300013, and they stop at 350 lb.
  • The brochure lists one MiniLift200 code, and the base is electrical.

How does a transfer work?

The footplate and the lower-leg support take the feet and shins. A ThoraxSling, bought separately, supports the back. The hand control raises the arm and opens the base. Do not leave the person alone during the move.

If the hand control fails, lowering can be manual or electrical. The emergency stop is on the control box. The owner's manual says the lift arm has to stay loaded while it comes down.

Will the base fit the room?

  • Outside width is 23.2 in (590 mm) with the legs closed. Check the narrowest door.
  • Inside width with the legs open is 34.4 in (875 mm).
  • The unit is 38.6 in (980 mm) long and 39.4 in (1,000 mm) high. Savaria does not print a boom travel range for this code.

Which sling fits?

Savaria lists ThoraxSling for the MiniLift. It is not in the box. The calf strap, item 70200033, is also separate. See sit-to-stand slings. The lower of the lift limit and the sling limit is the one that applies. We match the sling before you order.

What is specific to 401100334?

  • Casters are 3.9 in (100 mm) front and rear. The 2.8 in front caster belongs to the low-leg 160 codes.
  • Unit weight is 108 lb (49 kg). The 160 is 89 lb.
  • The footplate height for the user is 3.7 in (95 mm). On the 160 that figure is 2.3 in.

Battery and charging

The current brochure says the MiniLift has built-in charging. It does not print a battery chemistry or an amp-hour figure, so this page does not either. An external charger, item 70200029, is listed as its own part. Charge it off a wet floor.

How does it compare?

Browse sit-to-stand lifts and patient lifts. The Span F500S is another powered sit-to-stand. The Hoyer Journey is a smaller active lift.

Frequently asked questions

Is 401100334 a low-leg MiniLift?

No. The low-leg codes are 60300011 and 60300013. This code uses 3.9 in casters at both ends.

Why does the page say 440 lb when the manual says 441?

The current brochure prints 440 lb (200 kg). The owner's manual prints 441 lb. This page uses the brochure.

Can the person be moved down the hall in it?

No. The owner's manual says the MiniLift200 is for short transfers, not for transporting someone.

Does the footplate come off?

Yes. Savaria says the MiniLift footplate can be removed so the lift can be used as a walking aid.
