Description
Item 721-780 is the tall adult pair in the Hugo Comfort Max crutch line. It is not the adult size and it is not the youth size.
Who it suits
- A user about 5 ft 10 in to 6 ft 6 in who needs underarm crutches for a time.
- Not someone between about 5 ft 2 in and 5 ft 10 in. That range is adult item 721-785.
- Not a youth about 4 ft 6 in to 5 ft 2 in. That pair is 721-790.
- Not a user over 300 lb (136 kg). The chart stops there for this line.
Check the fit
- Underarm height on the tall pair is 70 in to 78 in.
- Handle height is 29.25 in to 43.25 in, in about 1 in steps on the centre tube.
- Set both crutches in the pair to the same hole numbers.
Drive describes a push-button height change, thick underarm pads, washable grips, and a curved stair deflector at the tip with a metal ring. The frame is anodized aluminum, lighter than wood, in silver.
What this order is
You receive one pair, item 721-780. Drive also packs the line as 8 pairs per case. That case is a different quantity.
If underarm crutches are the wrong aid, look at walking aids and walkers. A free home assessment can check height before the pair is chosen. Service can set the buttons to the same holes on both sides.
Drive's compare chart gives this line a limited lifetime warranty. The chart does not split frame and parts.

Frequently asked questions
Are the shorter sizes packed in this box?
No. This box is tall adult 721-780 only. Adult is 721-785 and youth is 721-790.
Do I get one crutch or a pair?
One pair. The case quantity of 8 pairs is a separate pack, not this order.
Can a shorter adult use the tall pair if the buttons go low enough?
No. Drive's chart starts the tall user at about 5 ft 10 in. A shorter user needs 721-785.
Are the tips a separate item in the box?
No. The tips, pads and grips come on the pair. Replacement tips are not a second product on this page.
