The Interstate SLA1075 is a 12 V 8 Ah sealed AGM battery in the general purpose line, with F1 tabs. The price is for one battery.
Which stairlift does this battery fit?
Interstate's Also Fits list does not name a stairlift. Use this battery only when the batteries in the lift are labeled 12 V, 8 Ah, and the tabs are F1, 0.187 in (4.75 mm).
- Handicare Freecurve, standard batteries: Our category notes say the Freecurve's standard batteries are two 12 V 8 Ah cells on rails under 9 m. A lithium pack is a different battery and a different charger.
Do not step up the amp-hours unless the lift maker specifies that rating.
What must match the old battery?
- Read maker, part number, 12 V, 8 Ah, and AGM or gel.
- Look at the tabs. F1 is 0.187 in (4.75 mm). F2 is 0.250 in (6.35 mm).
- Measure the case: 5.94 in long, 2.56 in wide, 3.70 in high. Height over the tabs is not on the current record.
How many and how should they be charged?
Order two SLA1075 batteries and replace both at the same time. Do not mix an old battery with a new one, or AGM with gel.

Is this the same as the 7 Ah FAS1075?
No. Both are 12 V AGM batteries with F1 tabs in a 5.94 x 2.56 x 3.70 in case.
Will this fit a Freecurve Extra Power rail?
Not if that rail specifies 12 Ah. The 12 Ah general purpose part in the next case size is the SLA1104.
Does Interstate list the Freecurve?
No. The Also Fits list does not name a stairlift. Match the label in the lift.
