Drive RTL2061 Leg Lifter Strap, 36 in

Drive's RTL2061 is a leg lifter: a webbing strap with a foot pocket at one end and a hand loop at the other. Loop the pocket over your foot, hold the hand loop and pull, and your arm lifts your leg the rest of the way. Drive makes it 36 in (91.4 cm) long, which is enough to reach from a seated hand to a foot on the floor or in bed.

Description

The Drive RTL2061 is a strap leg lifter. Drive prints one line for it: "A simple way to help lift your leg". Foot into the pocket, pull the hand loop, and your leg follows.

How you use it

  • Slide the foot pocket over your foot, or over a shoe, and hold the long strap in your hand.
  • Pull the hand loop and your leg follows, so the lift comes from your arm and shoulder rather than your hip.
  • The strap has no left or right side, so it works over either foot.

Who it suits, and when a rigid lifter is better

It suits someone who can get a foot into the pocket and pull, and who needs help with the last part of the movement into bed or a chair.

A webbing strap folds flat and takes no space. If your hands cannot grip a soft strap, a rigid lifter with a stiff handle is easier; ask us and we will suggest one. A grab bar or bed rail is a different job: something to pull on, not something to lift a leg.

Will it reach?

The strap is 36 in (91.4 cm) long, the only length Drive lists. Sit as you would when you use it and measure from your hand to your foot.

What Drive does not publish

The catalogue entry gives no weight capacity, no material name and no warranty, so this page states none of them. We will not guess a number for a strap you pull with.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use it after hip or knee surgery?

It is a daily-living aid, not a therapy device. Ask your surgeon or physiotherapist whether they want you lifting your leg this way after surgery.

Does it have a weight limit?

Drive publishes no capacity for the leg lifter, so we cannot give a number. The load is a leg, pulled by your own arm.

Can I wash it?

Drive names no material and gives no care instructions for it, so ask us before you wash it and we will check with the supplier.

Does it come in another length?

No. Drive's 2026 catalogues list this one leg lifter at 36 in.

A used daily-living aid cannot be returned once it has been used, under our return policy, so measure your reach first. We deliver across Toronto and the GTA, and you can try one in our showroom.
