Description
Sunrise Medical builds the Quickie Access for a rider who still propels themselves but needs tilt. The frame is rigid aluminium, the seat sits low to the floor, and a caregiver sets the tilt.
Who is the Access for?
The rider pushes by hand or by foot and needs tilt for pressure relief and posture. The frame tips 5 degrees forward for standing and transfers, then back up to 25 degrees.
Which seat size do I order?
Seat width and depth each run from 14" to 22" (35.6-55.9 cm), and widths of 14" to 17" use the small frame. Front seat-to-floor height runs 12" to 20" (30.5-50.8 cm) in half-inch steps.
Measure the seated hip width at its widest point and the hips to the back of the knee, or book a free home assessment.
How does it fold, and how heavy is it to lift?
The frame is rigid, so it does not fold side to side. For a car, the back folds down and the rear wheels lift off: 32 lbs (14.5 kg) at 16" x 16".
How is it set up and adjusted?
Tilt is set by the caregiver, and the reclining backrest option adds 0 to 50 degrees of recline. Push handles set the back height at 15" to 21" (38.1-53.3 cm) or 18" to 24" (45.7-61 cm). Armrests, hangers, casters, wheels and wheel locks come from the order form.
Which options, colours and accessories are there?
Twenty frame colours, four patterned finishes and seven anodized packages for the forks, axle plates and back plates. JAY cushions and backs, a tray table and anti-tips fit this frame.

Frequently asked questions
Can the rider push it with their feet?
Yes. The seat sits 12" to 20" from the floor, so the feet reach the ground and the chair rolls under a table.
Who tilts the chair?
A caregiver does. The rider keeps propelling.
Is a cushion included?
No. Cushions and back supports are ordered separately.
