Description
MC7WPML is the Plus ReadyWide, not the 500 lb standard bed. Savaria rates that Plus load at 650 lb (295 kg). The bed is listed at 270 lb (123 kg) with no accessories on it.
Deck size on this Plus
The English spec table prints sleep widths of 35, 39 and 42 in, with millimetres 889, 991 and 1067. A marketing line on the same family page describes opening to 39 in and then 42 in, and that line does not print 35 in. Figures here follow the spec table.
Sleep length is printed as 76, 80 or 84 in (1930, 2032 or 2134 mm). Overall length is 82, 86 or 90 in (2083, 2184 or 2286 mm). That table has no extender footnote. A 4 in extender remains its own code.
How this deck moves
The back goes from 0 to 70 degrees. The knee goes from 0 to 30 degrees. The pendant includes auto-contour. Foot-end controls printed on MC7WPML add lockout, Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg.
Lowering pauses at 12.5 in (318 mm). After the pause, the rest of the descent is from the foot-end control, not the hand pendant. ReadyWide does not print a motor count, so none is stated.
Parts with their own codes
Assist rails R9959 and half rails R9308H are separate. See bed rails. Factory battery codes on this family are Q6701 (standard) and Q6770 (Plus). Neither code is MC7WPML.
Match a mattress to the width you lock. See medical mattresses. Other frames sit under long-term care beds. Add-ons sit under bed accessories.
Frequently asked questions
Is MC7WPML the 500 lb ReadyWide?
No. Savaria prints MC7WPML as the Plus model at 650 lb (295 kg). The 500 lb beds use other codes, such as MC7WML.
Do foot-end controls come with this code?
Yes. The code line says mobility, a floor lock and foot-end controls. Those controls add lockout plus Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg.
Are the assist rails in the carton?
No. R9959 and R9308H are their own codes on the same family page.
Is a battery built in?
Not on this code. The family list prints Q6701 and Q6770 as factory battery codes. Ask which one the quote should add.
