Description
MC9RWZB-C is longer than any bed code Savaria prints on its Encore page. MC9RW is the ReadyWide Encore, and MC9RWZ adds the words built-in backup battery. The extra letters here are not explained on that page.
What the current Encore list prints
- Savaria prints MC9RW and MC9RWZ on the current Encore list. MC9RWZB-C is not among them.
- The battery on that list is the MC9RWZ bed, or the factory kit Q6701.
- The accessory list names a USB charging kit and gives it no item number, so it cannot be tied to this code.
- A Z or a C inside an unprinted number is not the same as ordering MC9RWZ with a kit.
What we confirm with you before the order
- The exact build on the unit, including any factory option it carries.
- The backup battery, and what the bed does on a power cut.
- The USB charger, if the unit carries one.
- Send the bed model and the serial number and we settle the build before the order.
Where to compare
- Long-term care beds: the Encore family list.
- Bed rails: rails are separate codes, not part of the bed.
- Medical mattresses: matched to the deck width you lock.
Frequently asked questions
Is MC9RWZB-C the same bed as MC9RWZ?
No. MC9RWZ is the shorter printed code named for a built-in battery, and this number is not on the current list.
Does the letter C mean a USB charger?
The Encore page names a USB charging kit and gives it no item number, so we confirm whether your unit carries one.
What does the bed do in a power cut?
We do not publish a run time without the maker's figure for this code. Send the model and serial and we confirm the battery with you.
Does the room photo show this code?
No. It is the maker's one scene for the Encore family, and it is not a labelled view of this number.
