Atlas is the bariatric foam Geo-Mattress. It does not use a pump.
Who is it for?
- A wider or higher-capacity deck that still wants foam, not alternating air.
- 35 in widths are rated 600 lbs. 39 in is 675 lbs. 42, 48 and 54 in are 750 lbs. The bed's own limit also applies.
- Under those weights, a narrower foam mattress may be the simpler fit. See Geo-Mattress UltraMax.
- If you need powered alternating pressure, look at bariatric mattresses with a pump.
Will it fit?
- Lengths are 75, 80 or 84 in. Widths on this listing are 35, 39, 42, 48 and 54 in. All are 7 in at the centre.
- Measure the deck, not the old mattress. A 7 in surface changes the gap at the rails.
- Heel Slope is a taper under the heels. It is not a raised side rail.
- Average mattress weight is 36 lbs. A wider size may weigh more. Savaria prints one average.
How it is built
- The top is a Geo-Matt layer, more than 800 separate cells, about 2 in deep, over three high-resiliency layers that get firmer as you go down.
- The cover is fluid-proof. Savaria rates the core for 3 years and the cover for 2 years.
- No control unit ships with it.

No. 35 in is 600 lbs, 39 in is 675 lbs, and 42 in and wider are 750 lbs.
Is there a pump to set up?
No. Atlas is foam only. Nothing to plug in.
Which part number is 80 by 42 in?
