The Nipigon PL340 uses one pair of buttons for recline and lift, with heat and massage on the same remote.

Who is it for?
- Someone up to 375 lbs (170 kg) who wants a simple 3-position lift chair with heat and massage on the remote.
- Not if the back and the footrest must sit at different angles.
- The owner's manual describes heat and massage buttons on this model. One Alberta store lists heat and massage as the selected add-on. We confirm the chair you order has them.
- Golden Canada does not list the Nipigon on its current lift-chair page. This model is not offered as a current chair.
Will it fit the room?
- Keep the chair 17" (432 mm) off the wall, and 17" (432 mm) off a corner, when it is reclined.
- The owner's manual does not print seat width, seat depth, seat height or a user-height range. A store table is not used in place of that.
- High-pile carpet can rub the footrest. Raise the leg levelers above the pile.
- Plug the transformer into a 115-120 V outlet you can reach quickly.

Use and care limits
- Press power first. The remote starts a 20-minute timer. Hold power for 4 seconds to lock it (the button glows red).
- Heat and massage run separately. Each stops after 20 minutes, and both pause while the chair is moving.
- Two 9-volt batteries, not included, can bring the chair from recline back to seated. They are not for all-day use. Replace them after one use, and yearly.
- Indoor only. Do not exceed 375 lbs (170 kg). Exceeding it voids the warranty.

Are the backup batteries in the box?
No. Fit two 9-volt batteries in the transformer. They only return the chair from recline to seated.
How do I lock the hand control?
Hold the power button for 4 seconds until it glows red. Hold it again to unlock, then press power to turn it on.
Does heat stay on while the chair moves?
No. Heat and massage pause while you hold up or down, then resume when you let go.
